This year marked the 8th annual Bakie Battle of the Books with nearly forty 4th and 5th grade students participating. The competition challenges the students to read different genres. This year students read two historical fiction novels, a biography and three fictional stories. Pictured above are the first place "All Stars" Braydan Mason, Luke Chesbro and John Fuccione.
