MUSTACHE DAY A HAIR RAISING SUCCESS

The halls were full of mustachioed students and staff recently as Bakie celebrated its first ever Mustache Day.  All month long, fourth grade teacher, Nels Tooker, grew a mustache to raise awareness and "put a face on men's health". On November 30th, students and staff were able to join the fun, contribute to Mr. Tooker's fundraising efforts and wear a mustache for the day.  It was wonderful to see so many mustaches and so many smiles.  The day was a smashing success with over $385 raised to help fight cancers affecting men.  Thanks to everyone who contributed and sported a 'stache.
