Ms. Pierce attended Tenney High School in Metheun, Massachusetts and Andover School of Business/Andover Junior College in Andover, Massachusetts. Ms. Pierce, a retired Full Charge Bookkeeper and Office Manager, has been volunteering at Sanborn Regional High School for many years.  She has been President of the Sanborn Booster Club for the last 7 years and was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year" Award for the State of New Hampshire in 2015 from NH Partners in Education.

Taryn has resided in Kingston for the past eight years, where her two children have attended Sanborn schools. Taryn grew up in the U.S.V.I. and New Hampshire, and after graduating from Hampshire College in the 90s, she lived in Washington, DC and southwest Florida, before returning to New Hampshire where she met and married her husband of 15 years. After a decade of working in the private sector, Taryn decided to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher, and completed her Masters of Education degree at Plymouth State University in 2008. She has spent the last five years as a fifth grade teacher and is currently taking time off to focus on her family and give back to the Sanborn community.

Dr. Pam Brown completed her Economics Ph.D. from George Mason University under Nobel-prize winning economist James Buchanan.She has experience working for policy think tanks in Washington D.C. and teaching at 4-year universities. Dr. Brown currently works as a full-time Economics professor teaching online courses for Pierce College, one of nine colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District (the largest community college district in the U.S.). Her college and high-school students have recognized her teaching work with over a dozen “Golden Apple Awards” for teaching excellence.Dr. Brown has served on her District's Academic Senate and on numerous campus administrative committees including budget, bond oversight, hiring, evaluation, accreditation, and student outcomes. She has published scholarly articles in the fields of public finance, taxation and monetary policy and enjoys speaking before groups on public policy, the economy, and education.

Mr. Baker has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bryant
College and has resided in Newton since 1987. He has long time experience
as a self-employed businessman.  His professional background is in real
estate and business cost control. He is an advocate of lifelong learning
and community service and passionate about bringing people together in a
team approach toward solutions.  As a school board member, he will work to
strengthen our school system in ways that improve opportunity for students
and benefit our community culturally and economically.

"Ms. Mahoney has a B.S. in Social Work from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has worked for over 17 years as a Senior Analyst for an Information Technology and Services company in Marlborough, MA. She served as a volunteer in the schools over a number of years, including as an officer of the Sanborn Music Boosters, and is also a former president of the Sanborn Youth Soccer Association."
